Salt Town Council has implemented housing policies with a diversified approach, allocating a significant part of the municipal housing stock to families, young people, students and the elderly. The works and improvements underway on around fifteen flats reflect an investment of some 300,000 euros, with the aim of awarding them in the next twelve months. The recent acquisition of new housing and collaboration with other entities underline the City Council's continued commitment to housing.
The Gestora NouSalt and the Local Housing Office play a central role in the management and allocation of housing, providing daily advice to an average of 30 people. The mayor of Salt, Jordi Viñas, stresses the importance of housing policies as a central focus of the local government, with an unwavering commitment to expand the supply of housing for young people, families and students in the municipality. In the last four years, approximately 10 million euros have been invested in these initiatives.
