Alert with the false tenant
We alert you to a scam that "fake renters" have perpetuated in a Real Estate Agency.
Brief Synopsis:
A real estate agent shows a couple a home.
Once they have seen the property, the couple threaten the commercial with a knife, they also tie his hands and arms.
They take away his cellphone and wallet, force him to give the credit card pin, and while one holds him in the apartment, the other goes to a cashier nearby to withdraw money.
They are threatened not to say or report anything because they have their personal information, they know where they live and they have pictures of their family.
Luckily, this commercial did not suffer any physical damage, the money, the cellphone, the wallet, all this can be fixed, but the anguish and fear do not go away like that!
The facts were quickly reported to the Mossos d'Esquadra.
Actions to be more secure at work:
Always ask for customer identification before teaching a rental or sale home.
Take the data directly from the clients' IDs and, therefore, verify the people with their ID.
This allows us to quickly identify potential authors.
In the face of a minimal suspicious attitude of a client, try to make the visit accompanied.
